MUMBAI: Mumbai woke up to an unusually dusty morning on Wednesday, thanks to a thick dust cover over the city due to strong winds blowing from Rajasthan. The sandstorm, originated across the Arabian Sea picked up dust from the arid regions of Gujarat and Rajasthan and the winds led it to the city and nearby areas.
According to Indian Meteorological Department, Mumbai, “There is a dustcover enveloping the area because of a dust storm in Rajasthan. The winds are affecting part of Gujarat and north of Mumbai.”
